KVKK Privacy Notice

1. Data Controller

Your personal data is processed by Koçak Mimarlık Tasarım, operating in Ankara, Türkiye, in its capacity as data controller. You can reach the data controller at info@kocakmimarliktasarim.com.

2. Personal Data Processed

If you use the contact form on our website, the following personal data is processed:

• Identity data: full name
• Contact data: email address and phone number
• Request content: the project information you share in your message
• Transaction security data: IP address and submission time (to prevent abuse)

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed only for the following purposes:

• Receiving and responding to your contact requests
• Carrying out architectural project discussions and proposal processes
• Determining and planning the scope of the services you request
• Preventing abuse (spam) of form submissions

4. Legal Grounds

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds of KVKK article 5/2(c) (processing directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract), article 5/2(f) (processing necessary for our legitimate interests) and, with respect to cross-border transfers, your explicit consent under article 9. By ticking the consent checkbox on the contact form you give your explicit consent within this scope.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Form submissions are delivered to and stored on an email server that we operate ourselves, hosted in France on OVHcloud infrastructure. Your form data is therefore transferred abroad, limited to the purposes of delivery and storage. No third-party email delivery service is used, and access to the server is restricted to us. Your personal data is not otherwise shared with third parties, except for legally mandatory disclosures to competent authorities.

6. Collection Method

Your personal data is collected electronically and by automated means through the contact form on the website.

7. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as required by the processing purposes, subject to statutory limitation periods, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. The IP address and submission time kept to prevent abuse are held in server memory for at most one hour and are not stored permanently.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under KVKK article 11, you have the following rights by applying to the data controller:

• To learn whether your personal data is processed
• To request information about such processing
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with it
• To know the third parties to whom data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad
• To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• To request deletion or destruction of data within the framework of KVKK article 7
• To request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to third parties to whom data was transferred
• To object to a result to your detriment arising exclusively from automated analysis
• To claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing

9. How to Apply

You can submit requests regarding your rights by email to info@kocakmimarliktasarim.com. Applications are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.

10. Cookies and Local Storage

Our website does not use cookies for marketing or analytics; no tracking technology is run and no third-party cookies are set. Only two technical records are kept, solely to remember your preferences.

The first is a cookie named "km-lang", which stores your language preference. It is created only when you click the language switcher, holds the value "tr" or "en", and is retained for one year. The second is a local storage entry named "km-theme", which stores your light or dark appearance preference. Both are kept in your browser only; they are not transmitted to us or to third parties and are not used to identify you. You can delete either at any time from your browser settings.

In addition, when you first arrive at the site, the language information your browser sends automatically (the Accept-Language header) is read during that request only, in order to direct you to the page in the appropriate language. It is neither recorded nor stored.
